For New Shoes!

Hi there! I just wanted to do a quick post on the shoes I received for my birthday from my awesome parents! I usually just pick most of my presents out, because I can be picky, but I still get excited opening them. If you've been pining for something, of course it will still be exciting to actually get! That was the case with these super pretty Asos pumps.

I've been on the hunt for the perfect pair of low-heel pumps for awhile, and finally found them a couple of months ago. I immediately texted my mom, telling her they are the main thing I want for my birthday, and a few months later, here we are! I like to try and get the things I fall in love with pretty quickly, because I hate the disappointment of your size selling out. It's selfish, I know, but I just get so excited for things like this that I can't help it.

Onto the shoes themselves: they are in a soft blush suede with a thick block heel, so they are super sturdy and easy to walk in. Asos always kills it in the affordable shoe game, usually being the first ones to jump on trends. Be on the look out for these guys in some style posts coming up! Catch ya later!

Mom Style: Low-Heel Pumps

Hi guys! I realized about 6 months ago that I "had to have" some low-heel pumps. They are an ideal mom shoe. Close enough to flats to be comfy and with a slight heel to qualify them as dressy. This pair in particular was a great find. They are J. Crew, so you know the quality is good. The win is that I found them at a second hand store for $8! They are in pretty decent shape, minus a couple of scuffs. I fell in love with them because of their shiny patent blush color and the gold block heel. I can't resist a gold heel.

I paired them with a favorite striped button up and my vintage crop-flare jeans. They instantly add a little niceness to an otherwise casual and basic outfit. The light pink color is almost nude with my skin tone, which makes them a great neutral option for when my outfits call for it.

Side note: Brett's parents have this beautiful Magnolia tree in their backyard, and the flowers only hang around for about a week or less. Kristen and I had to get some shots with it! Gotta love spring!

I really do love this outfit. It's almost getting too warm to even wear jeans, but these heels will look awesome with my skirts and dresses too!
