For Lettering

Hi there! I'm heading to Arkansas today for a little family time, but before I leave, I wanted to share the lettering of the week! It's a quote from Emily Henderson on her children, and it really rang true for me.

There's always the misconception that having children defines your life and who you are, fitting you into only one category: mother. I'm not defined by being a mother, and I certainly hold more titles than just that, but my life is whole because I have Bailey. It's a happiness, not a burden. Thanks for reading, and have a great weekend!

Hi guys! I'm at the lake currently, but I wanted to share this on-point quote from Justina Blakeney. As a blogger/artist/designer, it can be really tough to draw the line between what's an original idea and an idea inspired by someone else's work. Is it still original thought, even if someone else has already thought the same thing? Sometimes you just aren't sure, but that's what being authentic is all about. As long as you inject yourself into that project, it will shine through, and thus be true to you. Thanks for reading!

For Lettering

Hello! This weekends lettering was inspired by a wall mural I saw on Pinterest. It had this phrase lettered out on the wall, and it really struck me as true. I think this is something that every human could care to remember.

It's easy to forget that we are in charge of our own happiness, but once you remember it, life becomes way more simple. Go do something that brings instant happiness people, you won't regret it!
